Global Seller Fees keeps calculator estimates tied to official source pages, review dates, verification status, assumptions, and clear limitations.

Update Policy

Fee data is manually reviewed before a country and platform is marked verified. Automated checks may detect source-page changes, but they do not update fee values automatically.

Unverified country-specific rates are kept out of default fee rules. When your account, category, country, or seller statement differs, use custom fee override and check the official platform source.

Seller-fee source registry: 21 official records and 20 listed platform-country calculator data files. Tax references are listed separately below.

How verification works

A default fee rule is marked verified only after the source page, assumptions, exclusions, and calculation behavior are checked together. Source monitoring can trigger review, but it does not change calculator defaults by itself.

Why some pages require manual input

When a country, platform, category, or account-specific rule has not been site-maintained, the page stays in manual-rate mode instead of pretending an unknown rate is official.

Corrections are reviewed first

Correction requests should include the official source URL, date checked, platform, country, and expected rule. Defaults change only after source review.

Source/status matrix

Verified entries have maintained default assumptions. Manual input required entries remain transparent support data and are not presented as verified default-rate calculators.

Fee reviewer: verified calculator rules are manually reviewed by the site's developer before they are marked verified. Automated checks and user reports may prompt review, but fee values are not changed automatically.

Correction request procedure: email the platform, country, official source URL, date checked, current value shown on this site, and the value you believe should be reviewed. Requests are checked against official sources before any calculator rule or review date is changed.

Change History

2026-08-04: PayPal US and UK, Stripe US, Etsy US, and eBay US verified calculator rules were rechecked against official pricing sources. Their maintained default rules are unchanged, so all five verified statuses remain in place. PayPal US Pay With Crypto changed to 1.5% on August 1, 2026, but that product is outside this calculator's default PayPal Checkout estimate. Stripe's pricing page also changed how Link payment-method pricing is presented. Link-specific non-card methods and promotional terms remain outside the limited US standard online-card estimate, so no Stripe calculator rule changed. The five informational tax-rate references were also rechecked with no reference-rate changes; they still do not populate the manual-rate tax calculator.
2026-07-25: PayPal US and UK, Stripe US, Etsy US, and eBay US verified calculator rules were rechecked against official pricing sources. Their maintained default rules are unchanged, so all five verified statuses remain in place. PayPal US now labels its fee page as last updated July 15, 2026. The five informational tax-rate references were also rechecked with no reference-rate changes; they still do not populate the manual-rate tax calculator.
2026-07-17: Stripe US standard online card pricing, Etsy US listing, transaction, payment-processing, and currency-conversion fees, and eBay US simple most-categories fees were rechecked against their official sources with no calculator rule changes. United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Germany tax-rate reference pages were also checked against official government sources; those references remain informational and do not populate the manual-rate calculator.
2026-07-16: PayPal US, PayPal UK, Stripe US, Etsy US, and eBay US official sources were rechecked. PayPal's new Mercado Pago and ShopeePay APM rate and other APM regrouping were documented as outside the default PayPal Checkout estimate. Stripe's new Metronome allotment was documented as a separate Billing product; no calculator fee rules changed.
2026-07-07: Stripe US pricing was rechecked with no calculator fee changes; dispute received, dispute countered, Smart Disputes, and Radar wording was documented as excluded from the default estimate.
2026-06-25: PayPal US, PayPal UK, Stripe US, Etsy US, and eBay US official sources were rechecked with no calculator fee changes.
2026-06-18: PayPal UK domestic PayPal online payment seed rule was added as verified data.
2026-06-13: Verified US seed data for PayPal, Stripe, Etsy, and eBay was reviewed and documented with assumptions and source links.
