Stripe Fee Calculator
Estimate Stripe-style card processing costs, amount received, effective fee rate, and profit without saving inputs to a server. Inputs stay in your browser and are not sent to a server.
Verified limited US estimate. Limited US standard online card estimate. Not a complete Stripe pricing model. Use custom fee override if your Stripe pricing differs by card type, payment method, country, currency conversion, product, Connect setup, or custom pricing.
What this calculator does
Estimate card processing deductions from a sale amount.
Compare Stripe against the other MVP seller platforms using the same sale assumptions.
Gross up a target received amount with reverse fee mode.
How seller fees are usually calculated
Card processors often use a percentage fee, a fixed fee, or both.
International cards, currency conversion, payment method, disputes, and custom pricing can affect the final charge.
Stripe pricing can differ by country, product, contract, and payment method, so unverified rules are not treated as official.
Formula explanation
Estimated amount received = gross sale amount - processing fees. Profit mode then subtracts product cost, shipping cost, and ad cost.
Reverse fee mode estimates the customer charge needed to reach a target received amount. Platform comparison mode applies the same sale inputs across PayPal, Stripe, Etsy, and eBay.
Example calculation
For a US standard online card estimate, a USD 100.00 customer payment uses 2.9% + USD 0.30. Estimated fee: USD 3.20. Estimated amount received: USD 96.80.
This example is limited to the US standard online card assumption. Stripe pricing can vary by country, payment method, card type, currency conversion, product, Connect setup, custom pricing, refunds, disputes, and other factors.
Use custom fee override when your Stripe dashboard or official pricing page shows a different percentage, fixed fee, international fee, currency conversion fee, product setup, or custom pricing arrangement.
Custom fee override
Use custom fee override if your Stripe dashboard or official pricing page gives you a current percentage, fixed fee, international fee, or conversion fee for the sale you want to model.
If the selected source data has not been manually verified, the result card asks for a custom fee rate instead of showing zero fees as a real estimate.
Custom override supports percentage fee, fixed fee, extra international percentage, currency conversion percentage, and an additional manual fee amount.
